What’s new for the 2009 season?

At the PeeWee and JV levels, we are planning to have 2 teams, one in the Ontario Minor Football League (OMFL), and (new this year) one in the Ontario Varsity Football League (OVFL). The OVFL is a higher caliber of football, thus players will participate in pre-season tryout’s, with the top players being drafted to the OVFL team (Crimson Tide), and the remaining players drafted to the OMFL team (Wildcats). If we have an unusually high turnout, we may be forced to make some cuts.

Age Criteria Update

The OMFL have recently changed their age criteria to coincide with the calendar year (i.e. January 1^st cutoff), while the OVFL have decided to keep their May 31^st cutoff. To accommodate players, we have decided to expand our house league age criteria. This has resulted in some overlap between our Atom, PeeWee and JV teams.
